actually a collab site again. wow.
Sorry to hear that you've been called into action. Should have finished your post. I read you were having problems (based on the site being put on hold) and the rest of this post is based on that. blah.
Anyway, I'll have to stick around and see if anything becomes of this strange reincarnation.

Funny timing, because me and some of the long timers are just now getting together to do our own thing. Don't worry, we won't ask to do it here, haha. (A group of people once asked us to do just that, although I see you allow groups, which is interesting.) Besides, easier to use google doc. Nicer formatting for one thing.
I'm not surprised you're having trouble holding onto people. We always did. Then you'd get the people who would join and immediately want to start their own story.
Oh, and we had one person add on to a story who didn't even bother to read anything that came beforehand!!! Always fun trying to fix mess ups through sheer creative effort rather than the delete button. But that was the old days.
Oh, and there was a member who insisted on posting obscene things in stories, so we had to go private after that... We were in yahoo at that time.
Anyway, none of this means anything to you, and it looks like the place is pretty empty. Just thought I'd say hi, maybe write a little if a story catches my eye, and wish you the best.
