There is a lot of talk about games in your staff profiles, what's up with that?
The staff here was initially derived from a gaming community, Citizens Coup Network, which is ran by "Violent" Dave.
Why is the staff a bunch of white guys?
After Budd hired the staff, he didn't really consider the fact that everyone was male and white. If you look up, you can see that we come from a gaming community and I don't really think there are much other than white dorky males there =).
Would you be willing to take on a female or someone other than white?
Absolutely! Actually, we look forward to it!
How do I apply/volunteer to be part of the TYI staff?
Well honestly, it's not really all that fun. We work for free and Budd seems not to believe in picnics. However, there is no way to apply or volunteer. The staff is hand picked from observance and offered a position under the table.
I'm not from the United States. Is there anyone on staff that isn't as well so I can look to them for assistance?
Yes! Actually about half of our staff doesn't reside in the U.S. Fndmntl is Canadian, TommyB is English (U.K.), Fabz is Serbian, and Budd (currently living in the US) lived in Germany for about 4 years.
What all can I do on TYI?
Chat, join groups, write, draw, make music or just whatever suits you. We all enjoy collaborating with each other in the forums but aside from that we love to just be a community and make friends.
I made a group but aren't I supposed to get a forum along with it?
Yep, you are. Unfortunately though, they have to be approved by someone with back-end access and the only current person that knows how is Budd. If you don't see it in a 1-3 days, send him a PM so he can help you out.
Your chat is really confusing. I don't know how to do anything on it! What's the deal?
The chat is run off of IRC through Mibbit. It can be pretty confusing at first but IRC is one of the best chat clients available. The best way to get help is to log in and ask some other members or the staff on how to work things. TNT is currently the one in charge and can assist with anything.
Can we run the chat using our own IRC client?

Once you click in the forums, you should see a link to the rules near the top. If you're lazy, just click here instead =).
I need an assistance from a main admin. Who do I contact when Budd isn't around?
First try getting a hold of anyone on the staff because most likely they will be able to help with whatever the issue. Still, Beer and "Violent" Dave have the same access Budd has but are just as limited with their time as he.
